Valkyrie Dress

The materials I used were: Chainmail links, pliers, a dress from Goodwill, thread, scissors, sewing machine, measuring tape, pencils, pins, and ipad. I began by buying a bag of aluminum jumprings online and from there I fiddled sround with the rings untill I learned how to make chainmail. Once the collarpiece was finished I worked on altering and customizing the dress I had bought. It was quite tricky working on the skirt because I had to do identicle messurements on both sides of the skirt even though it is round. After that I took the remaining chainlinks and made the belt piece. I have wanted to make a piece with chainmail for a while now and I've also been  wanting to make a dres with those kinds of leg holesfor a while. In the end I decided to put the two concepts together and created this piece. The piece is made to look kind of fierce and strong, with an almost warrior type feel.
