Reflection
I chose this project out of the three choices because I've been thinking about trying to make a storyboard and/or a comic for a little while now but have yet actually to do it. The other reason that I chose to do the storyboard is that I hope to work on movies for a living and I might have to do a storyboard at some point so I think it would be good to get the practice.

For the storyboard itself, I simply used graphite pencils and normal paper. The final finished piece, however, I did that digitally because I wanted to try it out and see what I could do with the lighting and the coloration. Also, I tend to use digital for pieces that I plan to have in color because painting isn't exactly my specialty, and using colored pencils a lot makes my tendonitis act up. My Process was that I started by reading the story that I based the storyboard off of. After that, I wrote out the plot and a simple sketch of the storyboard in my notebook. From there I got the big paper and drew out the storyboard after finding a master and current artist. Following that I drew up some drafts/thumbnail sketches and chose the one I liked the most, turning that into my finished piece. I tried doing the lighting, shadowing, and details in a way that is a bit more realistic than my normal because I am meant to be working on drawing realism. I also decided to make it a pretty dark picture because it is meant to take place at night, and the sharp lighting is meant to either be from the moon or from a street lamp, I didn't really choose.
